Crazy as it may seem, forms of spirit possession, might be a way of trans dimensional communication. So do we study Voodoo or shamanic possession as a potential source of knowledge? If you think that is ridiculous, then the Scientific Dark Ages might still be with us.

It is time. Time for space to bend to our will. Dare we do it? As the theoretical work becomes the basis of our future technology, do we need a vision of where we are going? Where do we want to be? How would a backward pre-dimensional travel society seem to other dimensions? Primitive? We can not yet even feed ourselves or control our environment. Are we are little more than monkeys in thongs?
