How are people getting on?

"Hi Ed,
I just wanted to say congrats on your tmxxine....it is by far the most referrals that I have on my server.
You must be promoting it very well as I now have hits from well over 40+ countries and counting. My unique hits are also up lots at 250+ per day with a total to date of well over 4000 hits since Sept 25 2007." Eric Mulcaster

"Booted up the Tmxxine and found it to be a very "Puppy on steroids" kinda thing and was impressed with it. Not sure that I would ever have a use for it because I only use Puppy on old hardware machines and this version doesn't do that well since it needs 512 meg of ram.....but it is a great alternative for a Puppy lover." Distrowatch comment

"I just tried Openoffice in Tmxxine 3.01 . Less than 5 secs for first open, less than 2 secs after. I tried it on a TP60 with 2gb ram. Very acceptable." Glenn

"I am presently test-driving the Tmxxine live-cd above mentioned by Lobster... It looks fun, very fast, so I wanted to say so.
I took the cd out of the drive, so it runs all in ram (512)...
It's a good Puppy offspring. I'll keep it in my toolbox." Caraibes

"I've given it a spin and its very nice and polished
I couldn't use xorg because my nvidia chip and usb mouse don't agree with it Sad but it worked fine with xvesa and seemed very fast. Everything opened almost instantly, much faster than my ageing 2.15 install!
There's a great choice of software too.
Great work Lob!" headfound

Any tips?

So it becomes now very easy playing around and go even deeper into the jungle.
And what I found was this little diamond called prism:
a very, very well smoothed peace of a sparkler rounded in a lot of details!
This is a damned good looking puppy package with a very high wife acceptance factor.

Congratulations, Tmxxine is the best puplet out there. I like the default black theme (and wallpaper) and the wide range of applications.
